This describes what Lamr collects, why, and who else sees it. Lamr exists to help you apply to jobs, not to sell your data, and it doesn't.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email & password | Account authentication |
| Master résumé, candidate profile | Source material for tailored documents |
| Job descriptions, application notes, tracked status | The application tracker itself |
| Generated résumés & cover letters (PDFs) | Stored so you can re-download or edit later |
| Usage & credit activity | Billing accuracy and abuse prevention |
| Payment details | Handled entirely by Stripe. Lamr never sees your card number |
| Anonymous marketing-site visits | Aggregate pageviews, referrers, campaign tags, approximate region, and device/browser type so we can understand which pages and channels work |
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service. None of them use your data for their own purposes beyond providing the service we've contracted them for:
Lamr uses browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (theme, sort order, template choice). This is functional, not advertising tracking. The public marketing pages use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate measurement; it does not set analytics cookies or track visitors across sites. There is no ad pixel or cross-site tracking.
We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email kireev.us/contact and we'll process the request.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Résumé/cover-letter PDFs live in a private storage bucket accessible only through your authenticated session, never via a public link. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the Service.
Lamr isn't intended for anyone under 18.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above.
