# Lamr

> Lamr is a job-application tool that tailors a candidate's resume and cover letter to a specific job description with AI, tracks applications through a pipeline, and can be operated directly from Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex over MCP.

Lamr takes a pasted job description and a candidate's master resume, then produces a tailored resume and cover letter as a typeset PDF, along with a fit score, evidence-based gap analysis, and an ATS keyword-coverage check. It never invents facts, numbers, or experience not present in the candidate's own master resume — optimization is limited to framing, wording, and emphasis. It also tracks every application's status, documents, and history in one place.

Access is currently invite-gated: new accounts are created from an invite code, not open self-serve signup.

Lets Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex list and screen job postings, track applications, and draft tailored resumes/cover letters from chat, authenticated via OAuth 2.1 against an existing Lamr account. Lamr itself never submits an application or messages a recruiter — it has no browser — but an MCP-connected agent that already drives a real, signed-in browser can, using the auto-apply tools below.

The agent confirms before anything is submitted; Lamr marks an application "applied" only on a confirmed submission, never a guess.
